Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Complete customs and immigration, then meet your private guide and driver. Transfer to and check in at your hotel in District 1.

Dinner at Pizza 4P's Hai Ba Trung, known for its fresh in-house made cheese and creative pizzas that blend Italian and Vietnamese flavours.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Independence Palace, which served as the residence and office of South Vietnamese President Nguyen Van Thieu during the Resistance War Against America and now stands as a historical monument.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the War Remnants Museum, one of Vietnam's most famous history museums offering a powerful account of the Vietnam War. Stop at Notre Dame Cathedral for photos, one of Saigon's most iconic French colonial landmarks. Finish at the Saigon Central Post Office, a beautifully preserved building combining neo-classical European architecture with Asian decorative details.

Dinner at a local restaurant. Watch the sunset on Bach Dang River aboard the Saigon Water Bus.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer northwest to Tay Ninh Province. Ascend Ba Den Mountain, known as the Roof of the South, which rises 986 metres above the surrounding plains. Ride the cable car system honoured by Guinness as the largest cable car station in the world. Visit Go Ken Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Tay Ninh and a well-known centre of Buddhist culture.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Cao Dai Holy See, the largest Caodaist temple in the world, to appreciate its unique architectural complex and colourful ceremonies. Watch the traditional prayer ceremony if the timing allows. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Dinner at Secret Garden rooftop restaurant. Afterwards, stroll along Bui Vien Walking Street, a vibrant nightlife hub known for its bars, street food, and lively atmosphere. Optional: enjoy a traditional water puppet show featuring folk tales performed on water with live music accompaniment (extra charge: SGD 18 per person).

Breakfast at the hotel. Shopping tour starting at The New Playground, an underground shopping mall in the heart of District 1. Continue to Saigon Centre and Vincom, featuring international brands including Zara and Uniqlo. Visit the Nguyen Hue Coffee Apartment, a unique multi-storey cafe complex with a rich history that reflects the city's many economic changes.

Food tour at Ben Thanh Market sampling banh mi, pho, bun bo, nom and more. The rest of the afternoon is free and easy to explore Saigon at your own pace.
