Cu Chi Tunnels and Cao Dai Temple
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for the Cu Chi Tunnels, approximately one and a half hours by road. Watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how Vietnamese people survived in wartime conditions.
Explore the underground network, which includes living areas with kitchens and bedrooms alongside weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centres. Discover the hidden trapdoors and defensive traps built throughout the maze-like system. Enjoy a break with tea and cassava, the food that guerrillas ate during the war.
Lunch at Kedai Muslim Al-Amin. Continue to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Holy See, the largest Caodaist temple in the world. Admire the unique architectural complex and immerse yourself in the colorful world of Caodaism. Watch the traditional prayer ceremony if the timing allows. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Mekong Delta Day Trip
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for My Tho, a town on the left bank of the Mekong River. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, dating back to the late 19th century. Board a sampan and cruise around the four islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
Stop at Unicorn Island, walk along the country lanes, and explore the orchards. Enjoy tropical fruits and folk song music performed by local people. Visit the fruit plantation and experience a honey-bee farm with honey tea and a coconut candy workshop. Ride a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal.
Lunch at a local riverside restaurant. Cycle around Tan Thach village and meet local villagers to experience daily life in the Mekong Delta. Hammocks are available for those who prefer to relax in the cool breeze. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
